A week of karate, team spirit, that summer camp vibe, and Pablo earns his 1st brown belt

Once again this year, it was time to pack your karate gi, don’t forget your running shoes, and head off to the Emeskai summer camp! For a whole week, karateka from different cities and countries trained together, exchanged ideas, and took the opportunity to work intensively on their technique, stamina, and fighting spirit.

As always, the training program was varied and challenging. From the basics to forms and sparring, all the way to sportsfighting and high kicks, there was something for everyone. Thanks to the diverse training sessions, beginners and advanced practitioners alike were able to gain new experiences and work on their skills.

The time spent together outside of training was especially enjoyable this year as well. The summer camp is not only a athletic challenge but also an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and experience the Emeskai sense of community.

Midway through the week, the traditional tournament took place once again. In forms, sparring, and sports fighting, the participants demonstrated their skills and competed against karateka from other clubs. The focus wasn’t just on rankings, but above all on courage, fairness, and the joy of competing together.

Another very special reason for the Lübeck club to celebrate this year was the belt promotion ceremony: Pablo earned his 1st brown belt during summer camp. We warmly congratulate him on this important milestone on his karate journey! His dedication, perseverance, and progress over the past few years have more than paid off – we’re thrilled about this success.

After an intense week filled with many training sessions, sore muscles, new experiences, and plenty of fun, we can look back on a successful summer camp. Many thanks to all the coaches and participants who made this week possible.

We’re already looking forward to the next summer camp!
