Despite the hot weather of the last few days, we don’t miss the training. Instead, we use other options so that we don’t have to train in the stuffy hall. So yesterday’s training took place at the Broicher Weiher. After a short running session in the shade, the training was completed on the Sandberg.

Last Whitsun weekend (08.-10.06.) our trainer team attended the annual trainer seminar in Darmstadt to further their education.
Diligence, commitment and determination were also rewarded here: Congratulations to Frederik (1st from right) who received the 1st brown belt!
Our spring schooling tournament took place on Sunday 19/05/2019 and the Alsdorf club claimed a number of placings.

Yesterday, sports badges were awarded to members at the Hoengener-Turnclub e.V. and we – the karate and children’s karate department – were allowed to demonstrate a few actions. Thank you very much for the invitation! It was a lot of fun.

Our two beginners Jan and Alex took part in this year’s autumn intake training with flying colours last weekend. Congratulations to Alex on his 1st yellow belt and to Jan on his 2nd white belt. Jan has thus successfully completed the Children’s Karate School.
NEW BLACK BELTS
From 29.09 to 07.10 our annual Adria-Seminar took place in Croatia, Veli Lošinj. The big highlight besides training and competitions was this year’s Dan promotion, where 3 of our members were honoured.

From 03-07 April, our annual Easter seminar took place in Berlin. The focus of this seminar is on throws, balance exercises and especially the development of speed. Emeskai karateka from all over Germany, Slovenia, Czech Republic and South Tyrol came together to train together. Finally, there was a big tournament where our participant Annalena could achieve 2nd place in Forma Quinta Set and 3rd place in Fighting Women All Category.
